ABOUT THE CORPORATION

Paug-Vik Incorporated, Ltd. is the ANCSA village corporation for Naknek, Alaska. Pronounced "PAH-vick," the corporation has approximately 430 shareholders. It was incorporated as a Native Village Corporation, organized and existing under the laws of the State of Alaska, pursuant to the provisions of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971.

Emma "Grandma" Nicolet

The Paug-Vik Plaza office building was dedicated to the memory of Emma Nicolet, an original Paug-Vik shareholder.

Emma Nicolet
"Grandma" Nicolet was born on December 4, 1900 and died on November 9, 1981. A plaque placed on the Paug-Vik building reads, "The warmth and strength of her spirit will live on in the hearts of those whose lives she touched".
